ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION
 
This property is a privately owned game farm, situated 8.5 km from Mareetsane in the North West Province. The farm covers 1,300 hectares of vast open areas, wildlife, grasslands, tranquility, and true African hospitality. It is a small slice of African heaven.
 
The Main Lodge offers Wooden Chalets and Luxury Tents – both, fully equipped with all you need as well as a good dose of unlimited rest and relaxation in the African surroundings. You will be served breakfast and dinner at your leisure. If you require connection – we have Wi-Fi and DSTV in the Main Lodge. 
 
The luxury tents sleep two adults in either a white linen clad king size bed or two single beds. If you have children each of these tents accommodates an under 12 on a comfortable sleeper couch. The tent décor is stylish, simple and well appointed, making it easy to lay down your hat for a weekend (or longer!). The serviced tents have an en-suite bathroom and all the amenities you need to soak up the time away!

The main lodge area, with a lounge furnished with a TV with selected DStv channels, a bar and a dining area, is decorated with rugged furnishings with luxury in mind. The main lodge area opens onto a wooden deck fitted with a communal swimming pool for those hot summer days. 

The lodge offers informal game drives in 4X4 vehicles, where guests can enjoy the sunset or sunrise, with an optional sundowner or morning coffee stop, under a big old Camelthorn tree. There are various lookout points and waterholes on the farm, allowing for excellent game viewing. Animals to be seen on the farm include kudu, wildebeest, zebra, nyala, blesbok, impala, duiker, and guinea fowl to name a few. 

The game lodge offers numerous facilities for both individuals and corporate functions, making it the ideal venue for parties, year-end functions, conferences, team-building, workshops and weddings. 

The lodge also has a backup power system to reduce the impact of load shedding.
 
ACTIVITIES
 
Game drives in open four by four vehicles are undertaken daily, especially at sunset and sunrise when the animals are abundant at waterholes.
 
Quad Biking - To experience the veld up close and personally –guided quad bike adventures that last 1 hour are offered. A minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 4 guests can be accommodated. Regrettably no children under the age of 16 are permitted during this activity.
 
Romantic Dinner - Spoil your loved one and take her out on a secluded romantic dinner. An ideal way to get engaged or for an anniversary.
 
Outdoor Picnics - The landscapes are endless, animals wander up close and our camel thorn trees create a blissful atmosphere. With no disturbance in site it is truly a wonderful opportunity to catch up on time lost.
 
Sand Surfing - Some areas are very sandy. This allows children to experience the wonderful “Bush-sport”. The sound of laughter will most definitely fill the air and children will experience hours of fun!
 
Hiking Trails- Various trails on-site allow for relaxing walks with breathtaking fauna and flora. Create silent moments to bond as you walk with friends and family and make time to take in the beauty and the perfection of God’s creation as you breath in the fresh air.
 
Adventure Playground - We love having little ones around to explore nature and spend good times with us. Various jungle gyms, a trampoline, scooters and swings allow children to play in a safe environment.
 
Pool Area- While the children are having fun in the pool mom and dad can sunbathe with an ice-cold drink, read a book or just sit back and enjoy the family time.
 
Bird Watching- With numerous bird species on-site, there is a lot to spot! Amateurs and professionals alike will be kept busy! We’ll give you the list so you can tick them off while you picnic and go on your game drives.
 
Photoshoots - We know life is busy and we don’t always have time to take or arrange family photos. Why not let us arrange a photo weekend for you? We arrange the photographer and you come and enjoy the weekend while they capture the moments!
